Frequently asked questions

How do I get charged for upsells?

Our Online Offers page is a place to upsell services like tours, transfers, spa, rentals, and room extras. The fee is $31/month (or you can select a bundled plan that includes it). We don't charge a separate transaction fee for selling these upsells; you can use your own Stripe link to collect payment or offer activities on a 'request only' basis.

Does the pre-registration sync with my PMS?

Yes! Planniac gives you a pre-registration page to collect the guest details you need in advance. Guest information will flow directly to Cloudbeds and any extra information you collect will be stored in Planniac.

Is it difficult to use?

Planniac has a lot of features that can take time to set up. But for the end user like your front desk or reservations staff, the tools are fairly straightforward. The key is using Planniac for everything -- because it's most useful when people rely on it daily.

Is my property too small to need Planniac?

Well, if your villa or vacation rental is connected to Cloudbeds PMS and you make a lot of  arrangements for your guests, then absolutely, you'll benefit from using Planniac. If all you do is provide accommodation, maybe not.

Will you help me set it up?

Of course! We're a small company too, and we were in the small resort business ourselves, so we get it. Technology is nice but setup can be a pain! Let us get you to the point where you're comfortable taking over.
